my brothers first draft
This is a short story script that my brother wrote to help me out with my long term video project. I wanted to get a story from a kid and pretty much let them have a big hand in the production of it. my brother decided to write a war story. He is 10 years old.
A platoon is ambush by all sides and private first class Moses and private Gibson have to take care of the whole platoon also there’s no Lt., Sgt., or Medic .The rest of the platoons are trying to hold off the enemy at the LZ(Landing Zone), The Knoll, and The Creek bed and badly out numbered. While the rest of the platoon is holding off the enemy private first class Moses and private Gibson they’re also holding off at night. That’s important because the enemy has more advantage for getting closer to the platoons. Mean while at LZ another wave of troops comes in but they’re taking heavy fire so they cant drop them and the platoons don’t know how much more time they can hold the enemy off so they have to fall back to the mountains. While the rest of the platoons fall back private first class Moses and private Gibson are also taking heavy fire to. While they’re shooting private Gibson gets shot in his shoulder and private first class Moses doesn’t know how to medic so private Gibson dies of his wound. Now private first class Moses doesn’t know what to do he’s alone everyone he knows is dead. Then all of a sudden the radio comes on it says “another wave of troops has came by” and they come to The Knoll and say “ is any body present”. Private first class Moses raises his hand and the troops take him back to the helicopter but he wont forget his friends that died for their country.
